Clyst St. George & Ebford Neighbourhood Plan

Including the areas of Clyst St. George, Ebford, Marsh Barton & Clyst Road

is a Neighbourhood Plan? The Government’s Localism Act of 2011 gave local communities some control over how development takes place through the Neighbourhood Plan. The Plan must be democratically approved by consultation and referendum of the voters of the Parish. When formally approved the Plan becomes part of the planning system for the Parish taken into account by EDDC for planning decisions affecting our area.

is a Neighbourhood Plan necessary?

The Plan lays out the future of  development in the Parish until 2031.
Our plan reinforces the Local Plan from EDDC as well as additional aims for the Parish.
It will be kept under review by your Parish Council.

When will the Neighbourhood Plan come into force?

Our Plan has been approved by a planning inspector and the Referendum will be on Thursday 8th November.
You can download the referendum version that you will vote on the Project page. I hope you find it agrees with the views expressed to us as we prepared the plan.
